OUR HISTORY
Royal Christian Academy is a private school situated in President Park, Midrand. The school was established in Tembisa in 2013 and moved to Midrand in January 2018. We moved because we had purchased a 25 000 square metre land in Midrand so that we have enough space to create a conducive environment to learning. The construction started in 2017 and is still in progress.
At present the school has 16 complete painted and well-furnished classrooms with 7 offices and a well-furnished administration block. We have a sports field comprising of a soccer, netball, volleyball and basketball court as well as an athletics ground. All these are under construction.
The school has an enrolment of 277 learners and 15 educators. Currently our classes range from grade R to 9. We are looking forward to having FET classes in the near future.
The school caters for learners from President Park, Ebony park, Tembisa, Ivory Park, Allandale, Glen Austin and Kaalfontein. The school also offers the community with after care services and extra lessons over the weekend.
We would like to further contribute to the community by offering a variety of sporting activities like tennis, volleyball, basketball, field games and more. We strongly believe this will help keep the children busy and off the streets and hence keep them away from crime and drugs. Not only that but it will also be good for their health, entertainment and also give them various career options.
